Just payed for a new vinyl convertible top and service manual yesterday. It would be nice if they were both here by the weekend but we only expect the manual. Naturally, it's a short argument that the manual is more important than the convertible as we are mostly out of the rainy season and we need to get everything solid.
It should all be fun. Lights will be nice.

A new baby
Just Sunday I purchased a gorgeous little '62 Austin Healey Sprite for my wife. While it may be primer gray right now, need some trim, a new interior, desperate work on the electrical and the obvious paint job, it's got something going for it over our '74 Jensen Healey. It runs! On it's own! Even uphill! This is a tiny, zippy little car that weighs next to nothing and corners like it's on rails. In fact I'd almost say that it corners tighter than my Jensen but it's been in the shop so long I'm not sure. The plan is a custom restoration to which end a convertible top and, most importantly, service manual have been ordered and are on their way.
